Central Maryland-Vision of Youth for Christ
As a part of the body of Christ, our vision is to see every young person in every people group in every nation have the opportunity to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ and become a part of the local church.
Youth for Christ Celebrates Christmas
Several of the ministries at Central Maryland are doing things to celebrate Christmas this year.
Campus Life Monocacy: Bowling for Blankets is happening on December 11. This is an event where students raise money by bowling in order to buy blankets for the homeless during the cold winter. Family Christmas Event on December 18. This is an opportunity to reach out to the families of Campus Life Students. The students have been working on making presents over the last few months to give to their family this night. Middletown Campus Life: Middletown Valley People Helping People. Students will "adopt" a local needy family during the holiday season by providing gifts for kids and a giftcard to buy groceries. Washington County: The mentoring group will be meeting on December 14 for their Christmas party. They will be making beaded jewelry for Christmas gifts and play some games. The children will be decorating ginger bread cookies. They will also be looking into volunteering at rescue shelters and serving. E. Russell Hicks student led club is making up Christmas gift boxes for children around the world. Catoctin Area: Will hold the First Sunday Worship service on December 7. This month, the program will have Christmas themed speakers and music.
